As a term, ‘regionality’ has cropped up as being slightly problematic as it has been revealed by some to be a very London-centric, patronising view of areas which are ‘not London’ thereby raising questions around issues of otherness and how this fits in with ideas and notions of Queerness or what is Queer.

It also transpired that one of our forthcoming board members is ‘politically regional’ and has a strict allegiance to the North West, so we have sent him as a representative to the Manchester Theatres Moot event at Z-Arts.
